DirecWay Troubleshooting Guide
The transmit settings are supposed to be set automatically. They are based on your location in realtion to the satellite and the timing that the satellite expects to receive information. This gives a good starting point, and then the equipment shoudl automatically attempt small variations in the settings to account for interference, atmospheric affects or erros in setting the geographic location.
Sometimes the unit makes bad decisions as it tries to settle on the best parameters. If you are getting a good receive signal and you know you have no hardware problems, then you probably need to force the unit to recalculate the transmit settings. Do this by going into the advanced configration page (http://192.168.0.1/fs/advanced/advanced.html) and clicking "Force Range" in the menu on the left.

The internet connection will be disabled while the unit tries several different variations of the settings and tries to settle on the best set. This can take a minute or two.
Once this is done, I recommend rebooting the RTU and then watching the Error Transmissions on the Transmission Info page to see if they stay low enough.

Errors should be as close to zero as possible, but anything under 10% of Success Transmitions will provide a functional internet connection.
